The secret to the production of a good handpan instrument rests in the artisans’ know-how. In fact, this one is made of two steel half-shells put together. The surface must then be hand-hammered and the finishes treated with precision. To finish, the artisan must tune the notes taking into account the tone, resonance and tonality.

Our original Hand hang drum is part of the idiophone instrument family, that is to say that it can be learned in an intuitive manner without prior music knowledge. It is an excellent way to encourage young people to get into music without making them take a course in music theory.

This model weighs 7kg, and measures 55cm in diameter and 26cm in height. It is impossible to resist with its intense colour and milky-way inspired design. Tuned to D minor with 10 notes : D3, G3, A3, D4, E4, F4, G4, A4, C5, D5. You will also receive our hang handpan with all of the accessories; a stand, two mallets, a travel bag and a cloth to clean the instrument.
